About 20 minutes after the sun went down I planted my tripod right on the edge of the water and pointed it at the reeds. The air was beginning to cool and a mist was starting to form. It slowly started to creep out of the reeds just like a scene out of a horror movie. I waited a bit longer until I could see it settling on the lake. It was a fairly clear night and there was still sufficient light to get nice exposure on the reeds. The calm still water provided a wonderfully clear mirror.
Thanks. Lol. I think the leeches would suck all the blood out of you before you drowned. I do appreciate you comment. It says to me that you would be at peace. I like that.
Thank you. I think I am getting better. Still have much to learn. You certainly can use it as a reference for a painting. All I would ask is that you give me proper credit and that you indicate that it's at Elk Island National Park. Our National parks need as much support as they can get and I have made it a goal to support them. They preserve the beauty of nature for us to see and it takes hard work and $$ to do so. Much of the $$ comes from tourists visiting the park but many people around the world are unawate that they exist. Elk Island is one of few parks where you can see bison in their natural habitat. Thank you again for you appreciation and support.
